The World Meeting of Families takes place in Ireland this year, the highlight being the visit of Pope Francis in August. Here in the Diocese of Killaloe there will a Family Picnic Day on Sunday, May 6^th as part of our celebrations. The venue will be the Showgrounds in Ennis and it will run from 2pm to 5pm. This will be a free event with lots of things for children to do and lots of music and entertainment for all ages. Bring your own picnic and there will be prizes for the best. No BBQ’S allowed.
