The recently formed Clare Branch of the Parkinson’s Association of Ireland will meet at Carrigoran Health & Wellness Centre, Newmarket-on-Fergus at 10.00 am on Friday next, 27th July.

One of the Group’s aims is to link people with Parkinson’s, their carer’s, relatives, friends and interested health and care professionals.  The meeting offers a forum for discussion, support and information and to raise awareness locally about Parkinson’s and problems associated with the condition. These informal meetings normally include a presentation by a healthcare professional or complementary therapist, as well as an activity that assists people living with Parkinson’s such as Yoga, Dance, Physiotherapy or Tai Chi.
