Ennis parishioner and Killaloe diocesan Priest, Fr Paschal Hanrahan Head Chaplain of the Irish Defence Forces, is currently serving as Chaplain with the 122nd IrishPol Batt on UNIFIL.
Today  Friday 11th August he was presented with the Peacekeepers Medal and the UNIFIL  by Lt Col Cathal Keohane OC IrishPol Batt.
We congratulate Paschal and assure him and all his comrades of our prayers in their work as peacemakers in the Middle East.
