On World Mental Health Day the Clare Traveller Community Project, in association with other agencies, planted a tree in the grounds of the Cathedral to remember all travellers who have died by suicide. The day also coincided with the 9th anniversary of the Carrickmine Fire Tragedy in which 10 members of the traveling community lost their lives,
The gathering includes a few short speeches, some singing a blessing and prayer from Fr Tom, and time for tea, coffee, and a chat.
