This year, on the 7th June, Matt Talbot, the great Dublin man who overcame addiction with the help of God through prayer and sacrifice, will be 100 years dead. The cause for his Canonisation has already begun and devotion to him is appealing, especially to all who suffer from the life of addictions. A saint for our Times.

On this Monday evening, The Order of the Knights of St Columbanus will be bringing the Relics of Matt Talbot to the 7.30pm Mass in Ennis Cathedral for the monthly Mass of the Matt Talbot Prayer Society, praying for those suffering from addiction and their families.

This is part of a nationwide tour of Cathedrals in this Centenary Year.
