Ennis Native Fr Paschal Hanrahan, Head Chaplain of the Irish Defence Forces, celebrated the 11.30am Mass on Sunday 1st September remembering all deceased members of the Defence Forces who served locally in the 22nd Infantry Battalion.

Our Pilgrims have arrived on Lough Derg. Bishop Fintan is leading the Pilgrimage and we unite in prayer with all pilgrims taking part in the very ancient penitential exercise. The Pilgrims will return home on Wednesday.
Clare County Council hosted a Mayoral reception in Aras Contae an Clair on Thursday 1st August which recognised the distinguished appointment of a son of Ennis, Archbishop Séamus Horgan, as Apostolic Nuncio to South Sudan and Titular Archbishop of Ard Streatham in Co Tyrone and the Diocese of Derry.
On Sunday 28th July the newly consecrated Archbishop Séamus Horgan celebrated the 11.30am Sunday Mass in the Cathedral.
